Come On Over
My first job was at the Glendale Galleria mall. I was a part-time retail associate at tween-teen fashion icon...Wet Seal (RIP). I know, but for a high school boy, this was heaven.
During a five hour shift, I must have heard this song at least four times. It isn't that I loved the song, but it became the anthem for this place, and I ended up buying the album just so I could listen to it in my own personal time. Whenever I hear it now, it takes me back to putting hang-tags on thongs and crop-tops, folding cheap denim, and tucking in security tags.
My manager was super hot though. Tiffany, if you are out there reading this...sorry about dancing in the windows and building spaceships with the shipment boxes. I totally thought you would find that attractive.
